For a modest $31,000 upgrade, buyers of the 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS can opt for the Weissach package of magnesium wheels and carbon fiber front lid, roof, rear wing and sway bars. The total savings: some 40 pounds compared with a 911 GT2 RS fitted with the Club Sport Package. The mag wheels represent an approximate 11.5 kg weight savings.
MotorTrend.com says, “you can feel the difference. . .the Weissach package-equipped cars are just that little more alert and composed into corners and on the change of direction.”
Porsche says the 3.8 liter engine, upgraded with bigger turbochargers and a titanium exhaust, generates 700hp and 553 lb.-ft. of torque, making it the most powerful road-going 911 ever.
From $293,200 MSRP.
